this is the one bag to rule them all. it's my precious. i'm gonna be dragging this thing all around, picking up knick knacks everywhere, i'm sure. thank god it expands. somehow i managed to pack light for the first time in my life. (i used to always have overweight baggage even when the limit was 75 pounds!) this bag can't be more than 30, and i'm carrying it onboard. i just don't want to lose it. i feel like i am forgetting something but i'm sure i could buy it in mexico, cheaper. some clothes, meds/vits, toiletries, and spanish phrase book - what else do i really need? i'm in the process of burning some cds for the long travel day and have about 6 hours till i have to leave for the airport. i will probably sleep a wink or two before getting ready. fortunately i am built to sleep on planes and can do pretty well. there isn't much to do anyway. they did not specify the movie on the website so it will be a surprise and i will probably do what i always do...say "that looks dumb" and not start watching it, then get sucked in because i watch it anyway without the sound and it looks good. so it goes.five hours till my ride to the airport.

I guess I didn't really think about it before, but you can't really take/bring back anything big with you. Like a chair. What happens if you see a really nice chair? Or a fucking couch!

Wow, Chris is such a weirdo. I'm impressed that you are just taking that one bag! You'll have to get a second one for all the stuff you will be bringing back, like bottles of tequilla and such.
