sunny days,

sweeping the clouds away...
it´s a gorgeous day on the lake and i´m here at the internet cafe. i´ve been up for over 3 hours and already read, wrote in my journal and sat in the sun. it´s not that i´m bored but i feel the need to do something. maybe i´ll rent a kayak today.

my back is feeling a thousand times better and i´m thinking i just needed to rest it. i ended up not eating tacos last night because at about 6:30 or so the power went out. not only in our hotel, but the whole town of san pedro. so we were in the dark and nothing was open. luckily, a lady set up a little grill outside our hotel and was selling bbq chicken or steak for Q7. it came with guacamole, 3 tortillas, salsa and some beans. it was delicious and the chicken was crispy. she made the guac right there and it was fresh as could be. it was dark so i didn´t see any flies around the meat or anything like that. =P

since it was dark our hotel put out some candles and i wrote in my journal by headlamp. it was quite exciting. the power came on again at about 9 or so but i was already heading to bed. early mornings and early nights, what have i become? today will be more of the same and i´m looking forward to those cheap tacos for lunch. it´s all about the food.
